TIDEWATER VOTED “2007 BEST TASTING WATER IN DELAWARE”

DE - March 2, 2007 – Water provided by Tidewater Utilities was voted
the “Best Tasting Water in Delaware” at a Water Tasting Competition
held during the Delaware Rural Water Association’s 2007 Annual
Conference, held on Wednesday, February 28, 2007.
Tidewater’s high quality water was chosen from 8 samples entered in
the contest by public and private water suppliers in Delaware.
Tidewater drew its water for the competition from its Point Farm
Facility in Dagsboro, DE. This facility was acquired by Tidewater
in July 2003, when the Company began performing various upgrades to
the system. The water is supplied by 2 wells which supply up to
240,000 gallons per minute from the Pocmoke aquifer.
Tidewater, established forty-three years ago, provides service to
retail water and wastewater customers, south of the C&D Canal.
Presently, the Company provides these services to over 35,000
businesses and homes in Delaware. Tidewater and its affiliated
