Richard Pryor, DSWA’s Chairman of the Board, said. “On behalf of my colleagues, I am delighted to welcome Jerry Esposito to the Board of Directors of the Delaware Solid Waste Authority. Mr. Esposito brings a wealth of relevant experience from the public, the private, and the regulated sectors of the Delaware economy that will enhance the Board’s discharge of its complex responsibilities. We look forward to his contribution and insights as we continue to address Delaware’s need for sustainable public policy and programs to manage solid waste here in Delaware.”

The DSWA’s Board of Directors sets policies and makes decisions regarding current operations, programs and planning. The Board is also required to adopt a “Statewide Solid Waste Management Plan” to provide the framework for the future of the Delaware Solid Waste Authority.   

Mr. Esposito has served as President of Tidewater Utilities, Inc. since 2002. Tidewater, based in Dover, DE, serves retail and contract water and wastewater customers throughout the Delmarva Peninsula. Its parent company, Middlesex Water Company, based in Iselin, NJ, has more than a century of utility management and operations experience.
